We profess the view of enlightenment as the expansion of the awareness of the reality in which our life is immersed. This reality comprises of both the physical state of the world and our adaption to this physical reality through mental actvities. Though the reality is primarily bilologically determined, and we access the content of the reality through biological processes, the full experience of the reality is not be accesible to most human beings.

Why? What is this full reality? What should we do in order to experience the profoundest content of what the nature is and what we are in relations to what exist around us?

Gate of enlightenment will provide the readers with a clearer understanding of the fuller reality in which all of us interact and live, and hope to guide people to view the possibilities of expanding awareness beyond what may be one`s daily understanding of reality. It will also chart a path which one should practice in order to transcend the limitations that color one`s expereince of life, and inspire people to make a journey which may unfold visions of  reality not perciptible through biological means.

The practicing of the path would require a social structure and oreintations towards values that promote creativity, compassion to all life and respect for knoweldge. First and foremost, it can not be practised without the knoweldge of the way the nature works, the mind operates and the soical  mechanisms which may create beauty and harmony in life. 

In this site we shall speculate about the mechanisms which may foster the growth of the social-poølitical structures and cultural understanding conducive to enlightened living.

Here one will find the description of a retreat by Sognefjord in Norway, where Anup Rej is making an experiment to build a world where the above ideas may be realized in a micro-scale. The place is situated amidst a spectacular landscape where one may find his/her paradise on Earth. The activities of the retreat include the following: 1) awareness building through knowledge, dialogue, discussion and exploration in the mystery of nature; 2) art gallery and open air concert; 3) education for the children which would bring forth the power of the human mind to relate to the greater dimensions of existence not perceptible by the senses.
